Holiday GMTO Collaboration with Leffot
We are wrapping up 2021 with our final collaboration of the year with our good friend and great visionary of luxury footwear Steven Taffel of Leffot in NYC.
We met with Steven during our New York City Trunk Show in October to put the finishing touches on a bold new line-up for our Holiday Group-made-to-order (GMTO) together.
The three shoes that we designed together take cues from New York’s rich history in Jazz, and their names are homages to some of the Jazz greats who performed in NYC.
Our Davis Spectator Oxford is our first shoe.
Norman and Steven selected cream contrast stitching along the welt, natural leather soles, and our signature pitched heel which delivers a streamlined and precise profile from the heel collar to the floor.
Davis is guaranteed to turn some heads, even spark a friendly conversation on the streets.
The second shoe in our design collaboration together is our Charlie Penny Loafer.
Charlie features a streamlined profile with a soft squared chiseled toe and an upper in comfortable unlined suede from Charles Stead.
We selected a deconstructed toe box with no apron to create the illusion of a longer silhouette.
The seamless toe box is the perfect canvas for our reverse hazelnut patina which adds rich depth to the elegant design.
Our Charlie Penny Loafer can be worn sockless as a sartorial statement piece for the summer, and the versatile color can work most dress and casual clothes year-round.
Our final shoe is our Gillespie Tassel Loafer.
Gillespie features a carefully hand stitched apron, a textured upper in Vegano Inca from Tanneries du Annonay, and woven ankle roping which complement the apron perfectly.
Our Gillespie Tassel Loafer will liven up a more traditional blue or grey suit and add a charismatic pop of color when worn casually with dark denim.
Our Davis Spectator Oxford, Charlie Penny Loafer, and Gillespie Tassel Loafer are now available in our latest Holiday GMTO with Leffot online and in our boutiques in Barcelona, Spain and New York City.
Join the group through Sunday, January 2nd.
