With winter coming to an end, we are celebrating spring with a small batch of three new ready made shoes and complimentary worldwide shipping through the end of March.
The first shoe is our Domingo Balmoral Oxford, Norman’s take on a classic style and one of our most popular MTO shoes. We recently featured Domingo in our GMTO offering and are now making them available in stock for the first time.
Domingo features box calf leather, an asymmetric pattern with a swan neck and balmoral seam that connect and wrap around the entire shoe, a padded and embroidered insole, and a leather sole hand painted in purple.
We selected bister, a brown that is derived by the ash of burnt wood. The beautiful color matches the greys and blues of business attire, but can also be worn with a dark linen suit once the weather warms up.
Our second shoe needs little introduction to those who know our brand since it is one of our flagships, the Decon Chelsea Boot.
With an elegantly elongated vamp, unique two eyelet facings that deliver ankle stability, and stunningly sleek lines, it’s no surprise that these boots are what bring most new customers into our Barcelona boutique.
We selected our black forest patina for this batch, a patina that looks black in low light but shows hints of green when below the sun. They are guaranteed to add personality to any business wardrobe and turn some heads while you are out on the weekends.
Our last shoe is for those who believe that boots aren’t limited to any season, our Derby Simple Boot.
With a chiseled toe, country calf from Tanneries du Puy, and a lightweight and durable Vibram Gumlite Commando Sole, the Derby Simple Boot is a versatile dress boot that is masculine, elegant, and most importantly comfortable.
We selected a cognac patina for this batch which adds a pop of color and compliments clothing of the coming months when weather is less predictable.
All shoes are bench made, Goodyear-welted, and hand finished by our artisan team in Barcelona, Spain. This process includes the use of glass, sandpaper, inks, creams, waxes, fire and multiple iron tools to achieve a bespoke quality finishing that the Norman Vilalta brand has become known for.
