Article: Un Buen Ritmo

Un Buen Ritmo

As we get into the groove of 2023, we made new gorgeous makeups of four of our best-sellers for you to enjoy.

Our first shoe is the quintessential oxford, our Mario Cap Toe in a vibrant emerald, green patina.

Mario is our classic Cap Toe Oxford featurings French box calf leather from Tanneries du Puy, elegant, streamlined proportions, our signature asymmetric pattern without a center back seam, and a slim, carved waist.

With classic five eyelet lacing, an elongated vamp, and subtle brogue accents along the toe cap, the Mario Oxford is the shoe that many people start with if they desire to give our brand a try and need a slightly more formal shoe.

As the battle between the return-to-the-office vs work-from-home camps is still being settled, we decided to turn up the design a few notches by selecting a fun Emerald green patina.

The color is perfect for those who want a statement dress shoe that will tastefully stand out with the standard blues and darker tones of your wardrobe.

Our second featured shoe is a new makeup in our American work boot inspired Brossa Derby Boot.

Brossa is a six eyelet, brogued cap toe boot with an unlined shaft and subtle brogue accents on the facings. The duende embroidery along the heel shaft adds an extra touch of detail, while the handmade brown and cognac patina adds depth to the silhouette, seams, and brogues.

The shape of the heel shaft hugs the ankle, creating a graceful flow from the ankle to the bottom of the heel block. For added comfort, the Brossa boot is finished with a comfortable Vibram Rubber Button Sole that delivers cushioning and a solid foundation for this impressive boot.

The new brown and cognac color is a beautiful blend of medium brown, tan, orange and yellow hues that adds a touch of warmth and elegance to any outfit. Whether dressed up or dressed down, this boot can be effortlessly paired with a variety of styles and colors.

Our next Shoe is our second featured color this season in our unique Chukka Boot, the Boulevardier.

The Boulevardier was named after our client Mr. Prieto in NYC, a person who enjoys life while on a leisurely walk in the city. Mr. Prieto explained to us that the “Boulevardier” is the urban explorer whose success in life affords him the time to stroll and observe society.

The Boulevardier features a rich combination of vegano inca from Tanneries du Annonay and suede from Charles Stead, 2 eyelet lacing, and a Vibram Gumlite Commando Sole which will keep your feet comfortable after a leisurely walk through the city.

For this new makeup we created a unique ebony and cognac patina with darker browns in the body of the grain calf and seams of the suede, cognac peeking at the center of the facings and tongue, and mahogany brown at the tip of the toe box and heel.

For those who appreciate the intricacy of a hand-stitched apron, our Gaspar U-tip Derby is our fourth featured shoe.

The apron or “U-tip” is meticulously hand-stitched by our team of local artisans and designed with flattering proportions that elongate the vamp and toe box of this elegant Derby.

In addition to the hand-stitched apron, Gaspar features an upper in grain calf from Weinheimer of Germany for a slightly more rugged feel, a streamlined finish created by the asymmetric pattern with no center back seam, and a lightweight, durable and comfortable Vibram Commando Sole.

The 360-degree storm welt increases weather protection and creates a slightly bolder silhouette, with a lip that nearly borders the shoe with the upper.

We selected our dark caramel patina, a rich medium brown with hints of tan and cognac. The color combination will liven up business attire and be the center piece when worn casually on the weekend.

The Mario Cap Toe Oxford in emerald, Brossa Derby Boot in brown and cognac, Boulevardier in ebony and cognac, and Gaspar U-Tip Derby in dark caramel are now available in our men’s shoe store in Barcelona and online.
