Hasta Luego Invierno | A Leffot Collaboration
We’ve teamed up again with the pioneer luxury footwear retailer Leffot in New York City to put together a handsome line-up of shoes for our March group-made-to-order (GMTO).
We worked with Steven Taffel of Leffot to create two brand new shoes and one stunning patina on a popular boot design from last year.
For this GMTO, we’re saying “hasta luego invierno” which means “see you later Winter” in Spanish. Essentially we’re ready for warmer weather but are already looking forward to our Fall/Winter line-up for next year.
The first featured shoe of our collaboration with Leffot is our brand-new Ellington Wingtip Derby Boot.
Ellington is a high cut derby boot featuring grain calf leather from Weinheimer of Germany, our round toe last with four eyelet and 3 speed hook lacing, brogue detailing along the wingtip, facings and heel, and a comfortable Vibram button sole.
We designed the boot with an unlined heel shaft which is less restrictive on the ankle and increases mobility, and added a 360-degree storm welt to give the boot a slightly bolder presence.
We selected a dark caramel handmade patina for our Ellington Wingtip Boot which has a blend of dark and medium brown tones that compliment most wardrobes beautifully.
Our second style in our Leffot Collaboration is a smooth new patina in our Brossa Derby Boot.
Brossa is a six eyelet cap toe boot with an unlined shaft, subtle brogue accents on the facings, embroidery along the heel shaft, and a comfortable Vibram button sole.
The shape of the heel shaft hugs the ankle and sweeps gracefully around the heel to the bottom of the heel block.
We selected a handmade ebony patina which is rich blend of black and dark brown with milky brown tints shining through at the toe cap.
The darker patina can be paired effortlessly with both dress or casual attire.
Our final shoe is the debut of our new Thelonius Balmoral Monk Strap.
Thelonius features a combination of box calf leather and suede uppers, an asymmetric pattern with no center back seam, and brogue detailing along the balmoral seam which wraps around the entire shoe.
We chose a Vibram Commando Sole which will support your feet comfortably throughout the day, and a 180-degree storm welt for added weather protection and a slightly bolder silhouette.
We selected a handmade brown and cognac patina for the box calf and a caramel brown patina on the taupe valentine suede, which results in a rich combination of leathers and patina.
The unique shoe will make a tasteful statement while dressed up or down and the color will pop beautifully when worn with darker color tones.
Our Ellington Wingtip Derby Boot, Brossa Derby Boot and Thelonius Balmoral Monk Strap, are now available in our men’s shoe store in Barcelona and online in our joint group-made-to-order (GMTO) with Leffot in NYC.
Participate in our GMTO through Sunday, April 3rd.
