A Study in Transformation

Three hand-finished interpretations of the Piet Penny Loafer, developed in our Barcelona workshop.

There are certain materials that invite intervention.

Taupe suede is one of them.

On its own, it is calm. Balanced. Understated.

But it also holds something else. An openness. A surface that accepts change in a way few leathers can.

For this release, we began with a small number of Piet Penny Loafers in taupe suede.

Finished, but not yet complete.

What follows is not production, but interpretation.

Each pair is hand-finished in our Barcelona workshop, where color is built gradually. Layer by layer. Adjusted by eye rather than formula.

No two pairs will be identical. Nor should they be.

Espresso handmade patina

A deep brown, developed slowly to bring warmth and structure to the suede.

The tone settles into the material rather than sitting on top of it, giving the loafer a quiet gravity.

Washed Indigo

Indigo, softened and uneven, as if worn into the surface over time.

The taupe base remains present beneath the color, creating movement rather than uniformity.

Antiqued Olive

A muted green, developed with restraint.

Subtle variations appear across the surface, giving the impression of age without weight.
