Good things come in 3's
With more people making a return to the office, we put together three new shoes that strike the perfect dress-casual balance.
Each easy-to-wear derby will elevate your style this Fall and will tastefully stand-out in the modern day workplace.
Our first shoe is a new color in our classic Gaspar U-tip Derby.
Gaspar features 4 eyelet lacing, our signature asymmetric pattern with no center-back seam, a 360 degree storm welt for added weather protection, and a lightweight and durable Vibram Gumlite Commando Sole.
The apron or “U-tip” is carefully hand stitched by our skilled team of artisans and designed with elegant proportions that elongate the vamp and toe box of this handsome Derby.
After a successful launch in a new upper last year, we continued with grain calf leather from Weinheimer of Germany, a rich leather with a distinctly defined pebble grain texture that adds a slightly more rugged feel to the shoe.
We selected a bister patina, a rich dark brown color with very slight hints of burgundy. Bister matches beautifully with most dress and casual attire, and the uniform color lets the elegant design speak for itself.
Our Tete Moc Toe Derby in a handmade espresso patina is our second featured shoe for October.
Tete is our moc toe shoe that features the sharp look of our chiseled last, streamlined design of our asymmetric pattern, and a textured upper of box Vegano Inca leather from Tanneries du Annonay (owned by Hermes).
Unlike our Gaspar Derby which sports a Vibram Commando Sole, Tete features our leather sole hand painted in purple for those who prefer a more classic dress shoe look.
We added our espresso handmade patina, a dark brown to milky brown reverse patina that is similar to our dark chestnut version from a couple of years ago, but darker and with less red and orange undertones.
The rich patina looks fabulous with your classic blues and greys, and dark denim.
Our Coltrane Wingtip Balmoral Derby in a handmade Orion patina is our final featured derby of this month.
As one of our most popular MTO models, this is the second new color that we made in stock for those of you who don’t like to wait.
Coltrane features four eyelet lacing, a textured upper of Vegano Inca from Tanneries du Annonay, brogues adorning the wingtip and balmoral seam, and an asymmetric pattern which removes the need for a center back seam.
The streamlined upper is paired with a Vibram Gumlite Commando Sole, probably one of the most comfortable soles for dress shoes, and the 360 degree storm welt delivers added weather protection.
We added our handmade Orion patina, a black and dark blue reverse patina, which is perfect for those who would like a patina but need to stay on the more conservative side.
Our Gaspar Derby in Bister, Tete Moc Toe Derby in Espresso, and Coltrane Wingtip Balmoral Derby in Orion are now available online and in Norman Vilalta's men’s bespoke atelier in Barcelona, Spain.
Each Goodyear-welted shoes has been produced in a limited batch for the Fall / Winter 2022 season. As we've experienced in previous years, we expect sizes to sell out quickly.
