We are excited to present the newest addition to our handmade 1202 Heritage Collection family, our 720 Degree Wholecut Lazyman.
The 720 Degree Wholecut Lazyman takes our pattern-making challenge from last year one step further by lasting one piece of leather with an asymmetric pattern neatly around the entire shoe 2 full times, hence the 720 degrees (360 + 360 degrees).
This work-of-art features a beautifully hand-carved double-beveled waist (fiddleback), a sexy pitched heel with a tight seat, our signature Barcino medallion at the toe-box and a beautiful espresso handmade patina.
Tucked away at the outer edge of the swan seam facing is a piece of gore which allows you to easily slip on these beauties while on the go.
Each handmade pair from this limited collection is hand-lasted, hand-welted and outsole stitched by hand in either our workshop in Barcelona or by our teammate Kenjiro Kawashima who is now based in Seoul, Korea after working with us in Barcelona for 3 years. Kenjiro is the 3rd place winner of the 2022 Shoemaking World Championship.
The 720 Degree Wholecut Lazyman is a unique alternative to the average dress shoe whose intricate pattern, slimly carved waist, glove-like fit and elegant design lines clearly stand out. Even better, they are amazingly easy to put on.
For this limited launch, we have allocated 6 orders within our bespoke workload and once we’ve reached this limit we will not accept more orders until our team has additional capacity.
Our 720 Degree Wholecut Lazyman from the 1202 Heritage Collection is now available to order and each fully handmade pair will be delivered in approximately 9 to 10 months. We will close our list once our 6 pair limit has been reached.
