We created three new shoes with distinct details ranging from strong and bold to elegantly toned down. Each unique feature of these classic styles were created to elevate your classic shoe collection and set them apart from your colleagues' dress shoes.
The first shoe is Ricard, our new Cap Toe Balmoral Oxford in a newly developed Vitral Patina in Hokusai Blue.
Ricard features box calf leather sourced from Tanneries du Puy, classic brogues along the cap toe, simplified brogues along the balmoral seam, an asymmetric pattern with no center back seam, and a padded and embroidered insole.
The heel is slightly pitched which creates a streamlined design from the top line down to the floor. This feature also gives the shoe a more aggressive silhouette.
We selected our new Vitral Patina, an alternative to our classic reverse patina with darker tone accents around the seams and lighter tones peeking through at the toe cap, vamp, quarters, facings, and heel.
For the debut of this patina, we chose Hokusai Blue, a color combination that will liven up any classic suit, exude confidence, and be the envy of your office.
Our second shoe is our classic Mario Cap Toe Oxford in Vegano Inca and a handmade Marron Mediterraneo patina.
Mario is our cap toe oxford that features the classic Norman Vilalta design details that will set your shoes apart from the office majority.
The asymmetric pattern creates a streamlined design around the entire shoe with no center back seam to disrupt the look. The five eyelet ascending lacing and swan neck stitching along the facings compliment the instep of the foot beautifully and the embroidered and padded insole are discreet details that add both comfort and style.
For this premium version, we selected Vegano Inca, one of Norman's favorite leathers because of the rich look and feel. The semi triangular and lightly imprinted grain delivers subtle texture which will be perfectly appropriate for the Fall when this GMTO is delivered.
The combination of the Marron Mediterraneo patina and texture of the leather will complement the organic color palette of autumn and will be fitting for corduroys, flannels, and heavier khakis of the season.
Our final shoe of this group-made-to-order is our new Goodyear-welted Agustin Penny Loafer in light chestnut box calf leather sourced from Tanneries du Puy.
Augustin is a new version of our Penny Loafer with a piped apron, an elongated penny keeper, and a chiseled apron and toe box that are inspired by the design lines of luxury sports cars.
We selected light chestnut box calf and spruced up the color with contrast cream stitching which highlights the beauty of the design lines.
They’ll be a comfortable slip-on alternative to wear with your suit, or an elegant touch to your weekend attire.
Our Ricard Balmoral Oxford in Hokusai Blue, Mario Oxford in Vegano Inca, and Agustin Penny Loafer are available in our Group-Made-to-Order through Tuesday, May 4th.
All shoes are bench made, Goodyear-welted, and hand finished by our artisan team in Spain before shipment. This process includes the use of glass, sandpaper, inks, creams, waxes, fire and multiple iron tools to achieve a bespoke quality finishing that the Norman Vilalta brand has become known for.
We accept a 50% deposit to place the order using the code GMTODEPOSIT during checkout. The balance will be collected before the final shipment of your shoes.
Changes to the upper, lining, last, width, sole, and patina of the shoes are available with a 200 euro change fee. Please email sales@normanvilalta.com for any change requests or questions.
