Radiance meets refined craftsmanship
I’m thrilled to present the Alvaro Wingtip Full Brogue Oxford, my second creation in our Group-made-to-order launch. This design is a testament to my vision of merging timeless style with innovative craftsmanship.
From the start, I wanted to capture the warmth and radiance of nature’s treasures—so I developed what I’ve named the “Amber Handmade Patina.” Inspired by the luminous glow of polished amber, these layered golden tones shift gently into richer accents along the brogueing, echoing the interplay of light and shadow within this fascinating gemstone.
For the upper, I chose repello suede, prized for its rich texture and durability.
The shoe features my signature asymmetric pattern, which contours the foot and eliminates the need for a traditional center back seam. A soft square chiseled toe lends a refined silhouette, while brogue accenting highlights every seam line.
Inside, you’ll find an embroidered and padded insole for enhanced comfort, and beneath it all, a leather sole hand-painted in my signature purple—a flourish reflecting my commitment to artisanal detail.
Designing the Amber Handmade Patina was a journey into the essence of amber itself. I aimed to evoke its timeless quality in how the colors shift and intensify. By focusing on the interplay of light and shadow, this shoe attains an almost sculptural presence, capturing attention from every angle.
Craftsmanship is the cornerstone of my work, and this piece is no exception. Every stitch reflects countless hours of research, refinement, and care. I selected repello suede for its supple feel and longevity, helping the Alvaro Wingtip Full Brogue Oxford maintain its elegant character over time.
When it comes to styling, the Amber Handmade Patina is remarkably versatile. Wear the Alvaro with a classic navy or grey suit for formal occasions, or pair it with casual chinos in earthy hues for a more relaxed look. Even denim takes on fresh sophistication when matched with these refined brogues.
