Our new Tàpies Boot, available now through Group-made-to-order, is a mid-cut suede boot that feels familiar at first glance—until you begin to notice the details.
It begins with the silhouette. Unlike most mid-cut boots that rely on a rounded last for a casual look, we shaped the Tàpies on our chiseled toe last—the same last we use for our Kerouac Boot.
The result is a sleeker, more sculpted profile that gives the boot a refined presence without sacrificing comfort or versatility.
The upper is crafted from Repello suede by Charles F. Stead, a material we’ve come to know intimately over the years for its balance of softness and durability.
We've finished it in a Golden Maple handmade patina, a warm blend of brown, tan, and subtle amber tones. This patina breathes life into the suede and lends the design a quiet richness, with depth that shifts gently in the light.
The details are purposeful: a clean cap toe with brogues, simplified facings, a lightly structured unlined ankle shaft for natural movement and an embroidered detailing on the heel.
Beneath it all, a Vibram Button sole adds grip and resilience for the colder months ahead.
Styling is effortless. The Golden Maple tones pair beautifully with dark denim, khakis, earth-toned corduroys, and even tailored trousers.
Whether you're dressing for an autumn weekend or adding a relaxed touch to a sport coat, the Tàpies adapts with quiet confidence.

The Tàpies Boot in Golden Maple is available to order now through Sunday, August 3rd, with delivery expected in late winter (approximately 7 to 8 months).
