With La Costa Brava in mind, we are pleased to present our new Pablo Derby and Salvador Oxford in a luxurious and comfortable unlined suede. With the popularity of our semi-lined Brava Collection last year, we decided to take one step further with an unlined selection of footwear for your summer vacation needs.
The new members of our Brava Collection not only offer the luxury of unlined suede, they combine the lightweight and summery feel of Blake construction with our Capricho insole, an insole that we developed with your comfort in mind.
Our Capricho insole unites veg tan leather with a layer of cork foot bed and is topped off with a layer of Ortholite.
The veg tan leather and cork are features that we adopted over from our traditional Goodyear-welted shoes that helps the insole mold to your foot.
Ortholite on the other hand is a material that provides a technical attribute of comfort. The material is known to maintain 95% of it’s cushioning after the first year, compared to 35% of the average insole.
The silhouette of our Pablo Derby and Salvador Oxford are slightly more relaxed but we kept the slim cut waist which hugs the foot and delivers an excellent fit (a feature that is derived from our bespoke shoemaking experience).
The sole is slim to a point where you can barely see it from above, which gives the shoes a uniquely dress-casual air to them.
Finally, the vamp is shorter than that of our Condal Collection but is well-balanced proportionally with the facings, quarters, and slim sole.
The result is a line of summer ready shoes that are lightweight, flexible, and ready to wear via the unlined uppers and Blake Construction, utilize the customized comfort of our engineered Capricho insole, and are aesthetically casual but elegant.
Importantly, they are easy to take with you. Each pair is easy to fold up and pack in your bag for a weekend away or long holiday.
