Simple in Suede
For this Valentine’s Day, we’ve put together a very special group-made-to-order (GMTO) of a model that will be familiar to most of our fans who have been following us.
We decided to take one of our best sellers and dress it up in suede with an elegant patina that is unique but easy to wear.
The Derby Simple features a rounded toe box, an elongated vamp with 4 eyelet lacing, our signature asymmetric pattern which removes the need for a center back seam and creates a cleaner finishing, and a padded and quilted insole.
The lighter snuff suede peeks out at the toe box, along the facings next to the eyelets and at the heel, each of the areas of the shoe that more commonly reflect light.
As we often point out, one of the defining features is the Vibram Gumlite Commando Sole. Since our Derby Simple is meant to be worn and made-to-last, we wanted a sole that could survive the city streets and long walks.
This Vibram Gumlite Commando sole delivers the comfort, lightness in weight, and overall durability that does the job perfectly.
