Boot Season 2022
Following the launch of our three new derby shoes for this Fall/Winter, we created a small batch of three new derby boots -- two impressive designs that were best-selling GMTOs and a new color in our flagship Decon Chelsea Boot.
Our mid-cut Brossa Boot in French box calf leather is our first featured boot of the month.
Brossa takes design cues from classic American work boots featuring six eyelets, and a brogued cap toe with an unlined shaft.
Subtle brogue accents adorn the facings, embroidery along the heel shaft adds a unique design touch, and a comfortable Vibram Rubber Button Sole delivers cushioning and comfort for this elegant boot.
The design detail that Norman adores is the shape of the heel shaft that gently hugs the ankle and sweeps gracefully around the heel to the bottom of the heel block.
For this version of our Brossa Boot, we created a new rosewood patina, a blend of medium brown and burgundy, that sits between our chestnut and marron mediterraneo patinas.
The brown with reddish tones compliments the classic blues, greys and earth tones of the modern day wardrobe and can be effortlessly paired with dress or casual attire.
Our second shoe is our Haring Moc Toe Boot, a boot that we originally debuted with our friends at Leffot in NYC.
Haring is a six eyelet moc-toe derby boot featuring a carefully handstitched apron, facings adorned with simplified punching, a comfortable unlined ankle shaft, and a lightweight and comfortable Vibram Gumlite Commando Sole.
We sourced grain calf from Weinheimer of Germany, a leather we chose because of it’s distinct grains and slightly more rigid feel.
We selected a onyx handmade patina for those who are looking for a new black boot this season and added brass eyelets for a subtle contrast.
The combination of the sleek silhouette, solid body of the leather and sole, unique design details, and patina deliver a boot that is bold, masculine, confident and handsome.
Our final featured shoe of this month is our flagship Decon Chelsea Boot in our Orion patina.
Although Chelsea Boots don’t normally fall into the world of derby boots, our Decon Chelsea is an exception. The streamlined two eyelet facings are a unique detail that adds an elegant accent to the design and delivers ankle stability.
The elongated vamp and chiseled toe-box is the perfect canvas for our reverse patina, this time in our Orion patina, a more subtle black and blue blend.
The patina is perfect for those who want to experiment with color but need a combination that leans more conservative.
Dress up your Decon Chelsea Boots with wool trousers at work, or down with denim on the weekends. The sleek profile and unique design will match nearly everything and stand out tastefully.
