I’m proud to introduce the Marcos Medallion Oxford, the second shoe this year from my 1202 Heritage Collection.
This fully handmade Oxford is a refined balance of elegance, craftsmanship, and artistry—designed for those who appreciate the finest details in shoemaking.
At first glance, the Marcos Medallion Oxford´s sleek silhouette and gracefully tapered last give it a sophisticated presence.
The toe box is adorned with our Barcino Medallion, my design inspired by the Fountain of Montjuïc, one of Barcelona’s iconic landmarks.
Situated just below the Palacio Nacional, the fountain is a masterpiece of movement, light, and space—an enduring symbol of the city we call home. I designed the Barcino Medallion as a tribute to its fluidity and grandeur, adding a distinctive touch to this Oxford.
Every pair is entirely handmade by the same artisan team that crafts our bespoke shoes. The upper is cut from the finest French box calf from Tanneries du Puy, renowned for its smooth grain and ability to take on a deep, nuanced patina.
The shoes are hand-lasted, ensuring a precise fit that conforms beautifully over time. They are hand-welted for exceptional durability and flexibility, while the closed-channel hand-stitched outsole is finished with meticulous precision.
The interior is fully lined with soft French box calf leather, offering a luxurious feel with every step.
I've designed the shoe using my signature asymmetric pattern, which eliminates the traditional center back seam to create a cleaner, more sculpted silhouette.
Beneath it all, you’ll find my signature pitched heel, offering a refined angle that complements posture and balance while providing a distinctive profile.
Because these are made by our bespoke artisans, availability depends on our bespoke production queue.
