We are excited to welcome the return of our classic monk strap shoe, the Joseph Double Monk Strap.
Joseph, named after Josep Dalmau the painter who brought avante garde art to Spain, is our cap toe double monk featuring our signature asymmetric pattern with no center back seam, dual silver buckles, our signature embroidered insole, and a lightweight, comfortable and durable Vibram Gumlite Commando Sole.
Top stitching adorns the top of the monk strap complimenting the outer edge of the strap.
As a rare change for this GMTO, we selected our Onyx patina, a deep black that allows our design details to do the talking (we don't often feature all black shoes). The color compliments formal and work attire and is safe with most casual clothing.
Every pair of Joseph Double Monks Shoe is Goodyear-welted and meticulously hand finished by our artisan team in Spain before shipment.
This artisanal process includes the use of glass, sandpaper, inks, creams, waxes, fire and multiple iron tools to deliver a bespoke quality finishing that the Norman Vilalta brand has become known for.
