Article: Not Fooling Around

Not Fooling Around

We're not fooling around this April. This month we created two gorgeous patinas on a couple of our classic models and restocked one of our most popular shoes for the season.

In addition we offer complimentary lasted shoe trees and free shipping with purchase of any of our Goodyear-welted shoes through Sunday, April 17th using the code NICESHOES during checkout. There is no need to add the shoe trees to your cart.

The first shoe is a small batch of our Domingo Balmoral Oxford in a rich black and bordeaux handmade patina.

Domingo features French box calf leather from Tanneries du puy, an asymmetric pattern with no center back seam, a combined swan neck and balmoral seam that wrap around the entire shoe, a padded and quilted insole, and a Goodyear-welted leather sole hand painted in purple.

We selected a handmade black and bordeaux patina which makes a powerful statement without being overly distracting.

The color looks nearly black in low light but the bordeaux shines through when under the sun.

Our second shoe is a small restock of our classic Derby Simple Shoe in onyx country calf from Tanneries du Puy.

For those who are new to this shoe, the Derby Simple features country calf leather from Tanneries du Puy, four eyelet lacing, an asymmetric pattern with no center back seam, graceful top stitching in the shape of a swan neck along the facings and quarters, and a durable and comfortable Vibram Gumlite commando sole.

The Derby Simple is easily one of our most popular shoes and often the shoe that new customers start with because of it’s versatility. The shoe can easily be dressed up or dressed down, and can be worn comfortably with almost any outfit.

Our final shoe of the month is our classic James Penny Loafer in a handmade brown and cognac patina.

James is our signature penny loafer featuring a sharp chiseled toe, an elongated vamp and sleek silhouette, gimping along the seams, an asymmetric pattern with no center back seam, quilted and padded insole, and our hand painted leather sole.

We selected our handsome brown and cognac handmade patina, the signature reverse patina of our house.

The patina is a medium brown in the main body, vamp, and tongue and transitions to a warm cognac with reddish tints at the toe box, heel, and on the penny keeper.

Every pair of shoes are bench made, Goodyear-welted, and hand finished by our artisan team in Spain before shipment.

Our Domingo Balmoral Oxford, Derby Simple Shoe, andJames Penny Loafers are now available in a small batch online and in our men´s shoe store in Barcelona, Spain.

Use NICESHOES during checkout for free shipping and complimentary shoe trees through Sunday, April 17th. There is no need to add the shoe trees to your cart.

Promotion does not apply to the balance payments of orders already in process.
