Fall Essentials
This month we have three new shoes available in our ready made selection. We selected three styles that range from dressy to more casual and for the very first time we have one of our favorite boots available in stock.
The first addition is our Wholecut Oxford, a dress shoe made from one piece of leather and designed using our asymmetrical pattern making method.
The leather upper is carefully lasted around the elongated vamp and chiseled toe with four eyelet lacing that cuts diagonally across the outside quarter. This unique design creates a clean and seamless center front and center back, and the only seam on the entire shoe is tucked away neatly at the inner heel.
We selected our signature Marron Mediterráneo patina for this pair, a custom blend of rich brown and burgundy. The color compliments the falling leaves of the season and the blues and greys of cooler weather wardrobes.
With an increase in requests for blue shoes, we decided to produce a small batch of our Derby Simple Shoe in 3D Mediterranean blue. Paired with greys, blues, and browns, the color is a solid alternative to those who are searching for something other than the typical black and brown shoes, but still need to stay somewhat conservative.
The harmonious marriage of the elegant design lines, texture of the grain calf, depth of the patina, and comfort and durability of the sole result in a charismatic dress derby that will be the charm of any wardrobe.
Our last shoe is a boot that we produced for our ready made selection for the very first time. Our Borcego Mountain Boot is a versatile boot that Norman designed for both the great outdoors and city streets.
Our Borcego features 6 D-ring and 1 hook eyelet for quick and easy lacing, red mountain boot laces, dual tongue closures to keep out debris, and a leather strap inspired by vintage ski boots.
The merino fur heel pad and lightweight and durable Vibram Commando Sole will ensure that your feet are comfortable while on a mountain hike or trekking throughout the city.
The refined silhouette and chiseled toe box give the mountain boot a polished look and the antique brown handmade patina adds a touch of sophistication. The boots can easily be paired up with denims, corduroys, and khakis, or be the centerpiece of a more dressed up outfit.

All shoes are bench made, Goodyear-welted, and hand finished by our artisan team in Barcelona, Spain. This process includes the use of glass, sandpaper, inks, creams, waxes, fire and multiple iron tools to achieve a bespoke quality finishing that the Norman Vilalta brand has become known for.
