Don't let Emilio slip away

Refined in every grain

The second shoe in our latest Group-made-to-order is the Emilio Tassel Loafer. When I first introduced my readymade line ten years ago, Emilio was one of those designs that seemed to resonate immediately. It caught the attention of Justin Fitzpatrick of the Shoe Snob and appeared in smaller blogs like Sprezzatura Review.

The design itself is all about harmony. Emilio features a rounded toe, two medium-sized tassels with fine strings, and a clean apron-less toe box. These elements are brought together with the subtle texture of grain calf leather. It’s this combination—the classic shape, the playful tassels, and the rich texture—that creates a loafer as suitable for a relaxed weekend as it is for a business meeting.

Of course, craftsmanship lies at the heart of Emilio. The Goodyear-welted sole guarantees durability, ensuring that these loafers will last for years. As you wear them, the footbed molds to your foot, providing comfort that only improves over time.

For this special edition, we selected Dark Oak for the handmade patina—a rich brown with hints of red and yellow that dance across the textured leather.

These warm undertones reveal themselves differently depending on the light, especially on the toe box and tassels, adding depth and character to the shoes.

One of the things I appreciate most about Emilio is its versatility. Whether you pair them with a bespoke suit, linen trousers, denim or casual chinos, these loafers always add a refined finishing touch. The Dark Oak patina not only complements most wardrobes but also makes a subtle yet confident statement.

And beyond style, there’s the ease of wear. Emilio is made for movement. Slip them on effortlessly in the morning, wear them throughout your day at the office, and keep them on as you transition to an evening by the beach. That seamless blend of comfort, durability, and style is what Emilio is all about.

Join our Group-made-to-order through Sunday, March 2nd.
