Falling up
This month, the goal we defined for this group-made-to-order (GMTO) was to offer a shoe that delivers the following three requirements:
- A contemporary design that fits the needs of men's modern-day wardrobe.
- A dress oxford that you can wear comfortably to work, but will want to wear on the weekend.
- A luxurious make-up that is unique, tastefully stands out among the crowd, but is functional. Essentially a versatile dress shoe that can easily be paired with day-to-day clothing.
After digging into our archives for inspiration, we decided on the perfect dress shoe: Vicente, our Adelaide Full Brogue Oxford that sports a combination of leathers, stunning design lines and a comfortable Vibram Button Sole.
The Vicente Adelaide Oxford features five eyelet lacing, brogue detailing at the cap toe, throat, heel, and swan neck, and our signature asymmetric pattern.
The absence of the center-back seam creates a streamlined silhouette around the entire shoe and a cleaner finish.
Since comfort has become increasingly more important to our clients as office dress codes become more casual, we chose a Vibram Button Sole which delivers cushioning that will keep you going all day long and extra tread to withstand more challenging weather.
The profile of the soft square chisel toe and thickness of the Vibram Button Sole complement each other beautifully.
Like the design of a luxury SUV, the Vicente Adelaide Oxford evokes power and muscle while maintaining a sense of elegance and finesse.
What we love about this shoe is that the make-up incorporates many details but the design components are perfectly balanced.
The combination of the leathers with repello suede adorning the facings creates a unique contrast of texture that look fantastic when paired with everything from wool trousers to khakis to corduroy and denim.
You’ll wear these Goodyear-welted, hand-finished beauties with ease to work and will look forward to putting them on for an enjoyable night out.
The Vicente Adelaide Oxford is now available in our GMTO through Sunday, October 1st.
